Born in Guatemala City, Edgar and Yadira Castañon and their three children transferred to Bethlehem, PA in 2002 to be a part of a church planting team. There they co-founded a local outreach ministry that challenged and assisted low income families, particularly Latinos, to become self-sufficient. In 2010 their one-Sunday visit to Life Center became a committed desire to join the Life Center family. After commuting for two years, they were able to move to the Harrisburg area in 2012. Presently, Edgar works as Life Center’s Outreach Pastor while Yadira is the church’s Business Manager. Together, they desire to see the Harrisburg region become a manifestation of God’s amazing love, a healthy community where future generations thrive.
